AND THEN WE HAVE MOUTH BREATHING

Chronic Mouth Breathing often leads to “over-breathing”.

When we over breathe it can lead to various effects in our body as mentioned below.

Poor concentration and memory.

Dizziness, feeling faint or headaches.

Cold, numb or tingling hands and feet.

Dehydration and irritation in the nasal cavity.

Dry mouth with bad breath.

Tooth decay and gum issues.

Abdominal bloating, belching and reflux.

Poor metabolism and digestion.

Higher risk of snoring and sleep apnoea.

Forward head posture.

Forward head posture uses a lot of other accessory muscles to breathe instead of your diaphragm.
How do you think this posture would impact your neck, shoulders, jaw, core and so much more?
By bringing your awareness to your breath, and practising breathing through your nose when possible, if possible, can make a difference in your health.
