THE BENEFITS OF NOSE BREATHING
Some simple reasons why you would want to breathe through your nose if you are able to:
It encourages the diaphragm to do its job properly. This muscle is the main driver of breathing and plays an important role in your core strength.
If the diaphragm can function more efficiently it may reduce the unnecessary load on other muscles which step up and help.
Breathing through the nose slows down your breathing rate.
This can help maintain a balanced CO2 level in your body. CO2 assists in the regulation of all body systems such as the respiratory, digestive, nervous, hormonal and immune systems, and cardiovascular systems.Slowing your breathing rate also activates the Parasympathetic Nervous System, reducing the bodies stress response.
It may help reduce blood pressure and heart rate.
